Over the course of the past year, I’ve had the privilege of photographing many of my British political and economic heroes. The events to which I’d been invited were all organised by Open Britain, an organisation which campaigns for a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal. The heroes I’ve long-lensed have included Chuka Umunna, Nick Clegg, Vince Cable, Mariana Mazzacato and most recently, Stella Creasy. I’d heard Stella speak several years ago at a small meeting in the crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral on high-cost lending and was particularly impressed by her combination of forcefulness, articulateness and persuasiveness. These characteristics were on display again last Thursday evening at Fleet Primary School in Gospel Oak where Stella talked about Brexit. The People’s Vote campaign is greatly enhanced by Stella’s involvement.
